Players
Do I need to install an app?
No. Scan the QR code and play in your browser at app.quizziq.ba. An account is optional: you can play as a guest, and an account keeps your points and history.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play as a guest and create an account later. Your results then carry over to it.
How many players can be on a team?
Teams have 2 to 6 players. A tournament keeps both team and individual standings.
How does scoring work?
Each round has its own rules: sometimes question difficulty decides, sometimes speed, sometimes the number of attempts. All the rules are on the Rounds page.
How do you stop cheating?
The server does the scoring, not the phone, and checks time against its own clock. In games like Asocijacije and Korak po korak, fields arrive only as you open them, and the host can lock a team’s results until everyone has finished.
What if my phone locks mid-round?
Your submitted answers are stored on your phone and sent as soon as you’re back online, so a short interruption won’t wipe your result.
Can I play from home?
Tournaments are played at the venue. From home you can play solo quizzes via a link, and Fan Zone league members can also play blitz quizzes, for half the points.
Where is QuizzIQ played?
Tournaments are played at venues in Sarajevo. The home page lists upcoming tournaments, and the QR code on a venue’s poster lets you reserve a spot for its next tournament, or get notified when none is scheduled yet.
Is there an age limit?
Tournaments at venues are open to guests over 18, and house rules apply.
Venues
How much does it cost?
We agree on pricing based on the format and the dates. Get in touch and we’ll send a proposal tailored to your venue.
Who runs the tournament night?
Our team: a host, a technical operator and welcome staff. You take care of your guests and the bar.
Will our staff need training?
No. Guests play on their own phones, and the screen only shows the leaderboard. For the daily quiz, staff members sell and hand out the printed cards.
What if no event is scheduled?
The permanent QR code on the poster leads to a “Notify me” form: guests leave their contact details and get a message when the next event starts.
Can we bring our own sponsors?
Yes. Your sponsors get a place in the app and on the big screen, and you get a report you can pass on.
Sponsors
We don’t have a sponsorship budget this year.
Then leave the budget alone: Bronze and Silver can be covered with prizes, and Gold with a combined model. Goods, services or space count the same as a payment.
How do we know enough people will come?
Teams register in advance through the app, so we tell you how many teams have signed up 48 hours before the event. If fewer than five teams show up, your package carries over to the next date at no extra cost.
Who writes the questions for the sponsored round?
We write, you approve. We send a draft of the round no later than five days before the event, and nothing reaches the room without your sign-off.
What if a competitor buys the spot next to ours?
Gold locks your category for that event, and Title for the whole series.
Can we use the footage on our own channels?
Yes. You get the photos and video with usage rights, with no time limit and no extra fee.
Companies
Where does the quiz take place?
At a venue of your choice or at your own premises. We need a screen or projector and WiFi.
Can the questions be about our company?
Yes. We prepare a special round about your company, your projects and your team, and you approve it before the night.
Do our colleagues need an app?
No. They scan a QR code and play in the browser.
How much does it cost?
We agree on pricing based on the program and the number of participants. Send us a request and a tailored proposal will follow.
